Frigidaire has an entire line of earth-friendly heating and cooling systems called ecoLogic™. These systems combine efficiency with high technology to deliver the ultimate in home comfort and energy savings. To receive the ecoLogic seal, these systems must have efficiency ratings greater than ENERGY STAR, include smart controls and deliver multi- or variable-speed operation.

The goal with the Frigidaire ecoLogic equipment is to help Frigidaire dealers differentiate their product offering from the competition by putting the technological benefits into consumer-speak. Homeowners understand green. They hear the term nearly every day through the media. Homeowners also understand that green products are usually better products. So it is a natural extension that green HVAC would be better than the rest – and that Frigidaire ecoLogic HVAC is better than the competition.

Turn energy efficiency into budget efficiency.

When asked to name the most desired improvement in their home comfort systems, over half of all homeowners cite increased energy efficiency as number one. And that number will only grow as heating and cooling costs grow as well.

According to the Department of Energy, all energy costs are on the rise. Between 2007 and 2008, costs are expected to go up as much as 44 percent for heating oil, 30 percent for propane, 9 percent for natural gas and 1.4 percent for electricity.

You can offset those increases by replacing your outdated, inefficient system with an ecoLogic home comfort system. Consider this:

  • Going from a 10-SEER air conditioner to a 23-SEER ecoLogic unit can save an average of 60 percent on cooling costs.
  • A new 95 AFUE ecoLogic furnace, on average, is 50 percent more efficient than one installed 15 years ago.
  • New dual-fuel options exist where you can lower your natural gas bill, for instance, by heating with electricity when temperatures are mild.

A simple system.

Heating and cooling technology can be confusing. That’s why ecoLogic makes it easy. With just a glance, you can find the most energy-efficient products available.

And energy efficiency is a direct link to product innovation – which means in addition to consuming less energy, you’ll also be experiencing a more comfortable home with even temperatures, improved air flow and reduced noise levels.

Muskoka Geothermal Testimonial: How much will geothermal save me?

Fred and Cathy report from Bracebridge Ontario, switching from high efficiency condensing propane furnace and 10 Seer central air conditioner in August of 2008:

“We’ve been keeping track and there is a big difference.  We added a hot tub in April, so it is a little hard to get exact numbers.  From last year at this time, we have paid about $5500 less in propane.  Our electrical has gone up about a total of about $1200 over the same period.  So we’ve saved about $4300..”
