New $1350 Federal Tax Grant

What great news, it does appear that a further $1500 in grant or tax rebate is now in place. Therefore, when doing a geothermal project, the rebates\grants may look like this:

EcoEnergy Geothermal $7000
EcoEnergy HRV: 600
EcoEnergy Air Sealing 600
RST eg 3% of $20000 600
OPA 525
New federal tax rebate 1350
Total sample rebate $10675

This new grant take effect January 29, 2009.
